Your community-led trail run held at North Leverton Windmill returns for a second year.
Our goal for organising Scrimshire's Scramble 10k is to encourage people to partake in a running event that is local to you, with a welcoming, encouraging and beautiful running vibe.
It is a off-road trail course that will reward you with beautiful views over South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Lincolnshire, with the start and finish at our striking Windmill in North Leverton.
Walk it, jog it, run it, or scramble it. You do it your way.

minimum age is 16 years old to participate
Finisher's Medal. A unique design for this event from sustainable materials.
Loot Bag. Freshly milled flour from the Windmill and a jar of very local honey for all finishers. Nom.

Scrimshire's Scramble 10k returns on 01/03/2026, for this year though the event will have an admission fee of £19 per entrant. We think that's a lot of value for money.
Every last penny raised by the admission fee goes straight back to the North Leverton Windmill Trust (trust no. 1127200) who have very kindly agreed to host the Scramble again this year. Events like this, and generosity such as yours keeps the infamous Windmill in full working order for all visitors near and far, new and returning.
