Our goal for organising Scrimshire's Scramble 10k is to encourage people to partake in a running event that is local to you, with a welcoming, encouraging and beautiful running vibe.
It is a off-road trail course that is fast becoming known for being a tough yet acheivable challenge that will reward you with beautiful views over South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Lincolnshire, with the start and finish at our striking Windmill in North Leverton.
Walk it, jog it, run it, or scramble it. You do it your way.

start time is 10:00am - distance is 10k (and a bit)
minimum age is 16 years old to participate
Finisher's Thing. Either a medal or a surprise momento for all finishers if we can work it!
Loot Bag. Freshly milled flour from the Windmill and a jar of very local honey for all finishers. Nom.

Scrimshire's Scramble 10k returns on 28/02/2027, for this year though the event will have an admission fee of £19 per entrant. We think that's a lot of value for money.
Every last penny raised by the admission fee goes straight back to the North Leverton Windmill Trust (trust no. 1127200) who have very kindly agreed to host the Scramble again this year. Events like this, and generosity such as yours keeps the infamous Windmill in full working order for all visitors near and far, new and returning.
